This book is a good read for a first time CMMS user, but for a person conversant with a CMMS system, this book does not offer much value. It would be much more useful if this book contained more workflow examples and screen shots showing how typical fields and status information was represented in the popular CMMS systems.This book is definitely worth the price though, and for a new user this book is strongly recommended.

Was at the Material Handling & Logistics show this year and met Dave. He was one of the Key note speakers. He is the real deal and his book cuts to the chase. I'm in the middle of an implementation program for a big corporation his book is the road map I'm using. We are achieving great success with too!
Excellent, informational and learning tool.
Good intro to CMMS world
This book is focusing on the core challenges that most CMMS implementation projects faces.
It gives a good step by step guide with relevant risks that you expose the company for, if you do not follow these steps.
I will recommend all people that are involved with CMMS implementation, to read and understand this book. This is not a book for system administrators only.
This is a book for all disciplines, finance, engineers, planners, buyers etc.
But most of all, I would recommend this book to all CEO’s. The importance of correct implementation and utilization of the CMMS is today too often underestimated.
If this is done correctly, asset management would be a piece of cake. And most CEO’s like cake -)
