This book really squeezed my poor heart. The political intrigues, selfishness and greed, love and devotion and of course an epic struggle between good and evil, can something be missing from this book ?, since it has everything. Princess Selene even before her birth is the center of a set of circumstances that would affect not only her kingdom but the destiny of the world, but as always I believe that although fate is said in prophecy, she must mark her own path and fix the goals that she want since in the end life is too short to live it based on the wishes of others and this book is a clear example. This book really is engaging and I would recommend it to all my friends, since I really liked it.Product details

I was given a free ebook copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
For me this book was one of those slow paced books, I had noticed others gave it a full 5 but I cannot do it with good conscious. This book had a lot of promise, I just feel it was a draft of what could of have been an amazing book. I will give that the story line is pretty unique but I just could not get into it. The characters seemed flat, and not three dimensional. I feel the word play wasn't there and that the story didnt flow smoothly. I could practically guess what was going to happen before it happened. Many times I almost put it in my DNF pile but I soldiered on because it just didnt grip my attention. For a 200ish page book it took me 3 days of not working because every time I had to put it down, I had to force myself to pick it back up. I feel that the characters could have been brought out more and expanded upon. I wanted to fall in love with the characters, I tried, hard. If I had to pick a favorite part about the entire book was their memory of meeting in the city. Who I do see enjoying this book would be a teenager, its an easy short read. This story has love, dreams, a very sweet princess, and politics and love lost. I will give this book 3 stars overall. I would love to see what else this author could come up, and if you are looking for a light read I suggest this book.

A wonderful depiction of Christ’s love through the eyes of two young people who seemed destined to be separated through hatred and war.
Great story of hope and renewal. Well crafted characters and interesting world. Nice change of pace from all powerful magic welders to those of no powers at all.
This is a nice Christian allegory. The story was interesting and I liked the characters. The ending didn't feel complete to me. I think it could have been a bit longer to elaberate and fully bring the story to a close.

This was a well written book about the good and bad sides of life and love. The setting for the story was well written and described that I could picture it in my minds eye. There is a lot of parables in this story that are well seated and well written. You should pick up your copy and enjoy this wonderful book!
